Say NO To Drugs

Today I'm going to talk about drugs. First of all, drugs are broken down into three categories they are...........

1. Legal for anyone which means children, teens and adults can use such as prescription medications, non- prescription drugs and herbal supplements. ( under Canada's law system)

2. Legal for adults only which means you must be 19 years or older to use, purchese or even possess these drugs such as Alcohol or Nicotine (under Canada's law system)
Alcohol
3. Illegal which means it is against the law to use, possess, purchese, import, export, grow or sell these drugs such as Marihuana, Cocaine, Ecstasy, Heroin etc ( under Canada's law system)

From a MEDICAL perpective, based on how they effect your body these drugs are divided into three main classifications ..........

Depresents : Drugs that slow down or depress the central nervous system such as Alcohal , Pain killers, Sleeping pills,etc.

Stimulants: Drugs that excite or speed up the central nervous system such as Nicotine, Caffeine, Cocain etc.
                                                               or
Hallucinogens: Drugs that work on the brain to affect the senses and cause halucinations such as LSD, 
Merihuana etc.
